Women’s Banff Hiking Retreat
A Luxury Adventure for Sober and Sober-Curious Women
September 10-13, 2026
Banff National Park
Known for its towering peaks and shimmering alpine lakes, Banff National Park offers the perfect natural oasis to step away from your daily routine and reconnect with your true inner self. Every year, we gather a group of like-minded women in a new wilderness setting to share unforgettable outdoor adventures, delicious meals, honest conversations, and deep belly laughs. Expect to leave with a renewed sense of energy, lasting connections, and a strengthened appreciation for the transformative power of the natural world.
Awe-Inspiring Wilderness
Nestled in the heart of the Canadian Rockies, Banff National Park is a breathtaking backdrop for renewal and connection. Towering snow-capped peaks, turquoise glacial lakes, and endless evergreen forests create a landscape that feels both grounding and inspiring. Whether you’re wandering along serene alpine trails, standing in awe at the shores of Lake Louise, or spotting wildlife along the Bow Valley, Banff offers a rare blend of adventure and tranquility. With world-class hiking, soothing hot springs, and panoramic vistas at every turn, this is a place where nature invites you to slow down, breathe deeply, and rediscover the natural joys of life.
Luxurious Mountain Lodge Accommodation
Our home for this retreat is a Nordic-inspired luxury lodge in Canmore, Alberta, within close driving distance of Banff National Park. Guests will have the option of private or shared rooms, all of which offer plenty of personal space with separate beds. We will also make use of spacious living areas, where we’ll have time to connect between outdoor adventures, practice restorative yoga and enjoy fine dining with a private chef.

Prior Retreat Testimonial
My time was nothing short of life-changing. Surrounded by brave, strong women, I found authentic connection and was reminded that I’m not alone on this journey. Mary and Carrie created a safe, supportive space where I could be still and recharge, while also challenging myself—mentally, emotionally, and physically—on the trails and beyond.
The retreat was so thoughtfully crafted: nourishing food that fueled both body and spirit, alcohol-free drinks that honored our recovery, breathtaking desert hikes, yoga and meditation to ground us, heartfelt circles for sharing and reflection, and evenings around the campfire that deepened our bond. Beautiful accommodations provided comfort and space for renewal, creating the perfect balance of adventure, growth, and peace.
This experience allowed me to evolve, to heal, and to come out even stronger in my recovery. I left feeling invigorated, recentered, and deeply grateful for the bonds formed with such inspiring women. I will absolutely be signing up again!

Down to the Details
-
This retreat is open to sober and sober-curious women. Our intention is to bring together a group with a shared interest in living alcohol-free. This retreat is not a replacement to addiction treatment and will not be suitable for those in active addiction.
-
No, however this retreat is highly active and we will be hiking for hours at a time. If you do have physical limitations or injuries, please contact Carrie or Mary to discuss.
-
Absolutely! We’ve created this experience in order to encourage connection and build community. Majority of women have travelled to Brave’s previous retreat destinations solo.
-
We get it and we got you. We know that everyone arrives feeling a bit anxious and have programmed the initial evening and entire retreat to facilitate connection. You can always pull one of aside if you need extra tlc. xo
-
Definitely not. The entire weekend’s agenda is simply an invitation. Every hike, yoga session, excursion and activity is completely up to you. No expectations. You decide, it’s your retreat!
